This example is a customer case describing a configurator implemented at Repus Ventilation AB.

The system is built in RuleDesigner and supports several administrative processes around the configuration of Repus products.

Public configurator via the website

Via the Repus website, visitors can configure different products and quickly produce a product sheet with technical specifications.

Calculations running in the background mean the specification contains unique data on sound levels and the throw length of air jets.

Configuration in MagiCad

Those working in MagiCad can configure Repus products via the menu system in Autodesk Revit — for example ventilation consultants placing ventilation products into buildings.

Thanks to the integration with the Repus configurator, configuration is done on the same rule base used internally at Repus and on the website.

Quotation system for ventilation projects

The internal quotation system is used to create quotations for configured products.

Repus' quotation process is specific to the industry, where products for a construction project are often quoted to several competing installers.
